The real problem

You don’t need more alerts.
You need a point of view.

Most SME security reports are written for specialists. Founders are left with severity labels, scattered tools and no clear order of action.

“Can this hurt the business—and what should we do on Monday?”

Signals without a decision.

Business questions.

RiskPulse does not ask a founder to interpret ten scanners. It answers the four questions that determine trust, continuity, proof, and priority.

Field notes / 06

Before your first scan.

01What is RiskPulse?+

RiskPulse is a CyberScore platform for Indian SMEs. It runs a 10-dimensional cyber-risk scan on any business domain in about 45 seconds and returns a 0–850 score, a plain-English fix plan with a Hindi summary, and a DPDP Act 2023 readiness check.

02How is the CyberScore calculated?+

The score is a weighted aggregate of 10 parallel checks: SSL/TLS hygiene, DNS and email posture (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), breach corpus exposure, open ports, CVE matching, HTTP security headers, reputation signals, dark-web exposure, cloud exposure, and DPDP Act 2023 readiness. Weights are calibrated for Indian SMEs and bands map to actionable remediation thresholds.

03Do I need to install anything?+

No. RiskPulse uses only public, non-intrusive signals. There are no agents to install, no credentials to share, and no authenticated traffic sent to your systems. Submit any public domain (.in, .com, .co.in) and the scan starts immediately.

04Is RiskPulse aligned with the DPDP Act 2023?+

Yes. Every scan includes a three-pillar Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 readiness check: privacy policy, cookie consent, and grievance officer presence. The DPDP score is a 50-point component of the headline 0–850 CyberScore.

05Who is RiskPulse for?+

Indian SMEs and their founders — anyone who wants to understand their cybersecurity posture and DPDP Act 2023 readiness without hiring a consultant. You get a clear 0–850 score, a plain-English fix list, and a Hindi summary your whole team can read.

06Is it really free?+

Yes — RiskPulse is completely free during our public beta. You can scan your website and see your CyberScore with no card and no account. Create a free account (still free) to save your score, track it over time, and unlock your full plain-English fix list.

07Where does my data go?+

Your scan runs on infrastructure in India, and we only read public information about your domain. Nothing is installed and no credentials are ever requested.

08Is it safe to run on my live site?+

Yes. RiskPulse only reads publicly available signals — the same things any visitor or search engine can see. It sends no authenticated traffic and makes no changes to your systems.

09How long does a scan take?+

About 45 seconds end to end. Ten security checks run in parallel; results stream back to your browser via Firestore in real time.
